The 2021 Michigan Wolverines football team represented the University of Michigan during the 2021 NCAA Division I FBS football season. The Wolverines played in the East Division of the Big Ten Conference and played their home games at Michigan Stadium in Ann Arbor, Michigan.

The Wolverines were led by seventh-year coach Jim Harbaugh, and completed the regular season with an overall record of 12–1 including 8–1 in conference play, winning the Big Ten East Division title by beating Ohio State. This marked Michigan's first victory over rival Ohio State since 2011. The Wolverines advanced to the Big Ten Football Championship Game, defeating Iowa, 42–3. It was their first conference championship since 2004 and their first outright title since 2003. The Wolverines made their first-ever appearance in the College Football Playoff but lost to eventual national champion Georgia in the Orange Bowl.

The team was led by unanimous first-team All-American defensive lineman Aidan Hutchinson, who was the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year and a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, finishing as the runner-up. Kicker Jake Moody was also a consensus first-team All-American and the recipient of the Lou Groza Award as the nation's top kicker. In addition to Hutchinson and Moody, four other Michigan players received first-team honors on the 2021 All-Big Ten football team: running back Hassan Haskins, linebacker David Ojabo, defensive back Daxton Hill, and offensive lineman Andrew Stueber. Offensive coordinator Josh Gattis won the Broyles Award as the nation's top assistant coach, and Harbaugh won the Associated Press College Football Coach of the Year Award. The Wolverines' offensive line won the Joe Moore Award.
